As an AI Intern at Advokey AI, you’ll work on building intelligent systems that power legal learning and research. This role gives you hands-on experience in applying AI/ML techniques to real-world use cases in law, education, and natural language processing.
You will collaborate with our tech and legal teams to develop, test, and optimize AI models that make legal research smarter and advocacy preparation faster.
Develop and fine-tune NLP models for case summarization, argument analysis, and question-answering.
Work with datasets of judgments, statutes, and moot problems to train and validate AI systems.
Build prototypes for chatbots, recommendation engines, and gamified learning AI modules.
Collaborate with the legal team to ensure AI outputs are contextually and legally accurate.
Experiment with prompt engineering, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), and model optimization.
Document findings and contribute to research papers or internal technical notes.
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related fields.
Strong foundation in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace).
Familiarity with NLP techniques (transformers, embeddings, LLM fine-tuning, summarization, sentiment/intent analysis).
Knowledge of databases, vector stores, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Interest in the intersection of law and AI is highly valued.
Previous projects or internships in NLP/AI are advantageous.
Hands-on experience building AI for real-world legal-tech applications.
Exposure to LLMs, generative AI, and RAG systems in production environments.
Mentorship from AI researchers, engineers, and legal experts.
Opportunity to publish work in blogs, white papers, or research journals.
